Venue

JuliaCon Local Tokyo 2026 will take place on December 4-5, 2026 at the Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokyo.

Kashiwa is the University of Tokyo's newest of the three main campuses, and hosts its graduate schools and research institutes in frontier sciences, cosmic ray research, solid state physics and atmospheric and ocean research.

Getting there

The closest station is Kashiwanoha-campus, on the Tsukuba Express line: about 30 minutes from Akihabara in central Tokyo by semi-rapid service. From the west exit of the station, you can reach the campus by:

Kashiwa station, on the JR Joban line and the Tobu Urban Park line, is the other nearby hub: take the Tobu bus Nishi-Kashiwa 01 bound for the National Cancer Center from bus stop 2 at the west exit, about 25 minutes.

Accommodation

Kashiwanoha-campus station and the neighbouring Kashiwa station offer a number of hotels within easy reach of the venue. Staying in central Tokyo is also perfectly feasible, since the Tsukuba Express connects the campus area to Akihabara directly.
