JuliaCon Local Tokyo 2026 will take place on December 4-5, 2026 at the Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokyo.
Kashiwa is the University of Tokyo's newest of the three main campuses, and hosts its graduate schools and research institutes in frontier sciences, cosmic ray research, solid state physics and atmospheric and ocean research.

The closest station is Kashiwanoha-campus, on the Tsukuba Express line: about 30 minutes from Akihabara in central Tokyo by semi-rapid service. From the west exit of the station, you can reach the campus by:
Tobu bus Nishi-Kashiwa 03, 04 or 10 bound for Todai-nishi, about 10 minutes, then a 1-minute walk
free campus shuttle bus, about 6 minutes — note this runs on weekdays only, so it is available on Friday December 4 but not on Saturday December 5
taxi, about 5 minutes
on foot, about 25 minutes
Kashiwa station, on the JR Joban line and the Tobu Urban Park line, is the other nearby hub: take the Tobu bus Nishi-Kashiwa 01 bound for the National Cancer Center from bus stop 2 at the west exit, about 25 minutes.
Haneda (HND): the simplest option is the Tobu direct highway bus to Kashiwa station west exit (about 75 minutes), getting off at the National Cancer Center stop, 3 minutes on foot from the campus. By train, take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho (30 min), the JR Yamanote line to Akihabara (10 min), then the Tsukuba Express (30 min).
Narita (NRT): the fastest rail route is the Keisei Narita Sky Access line to Kamagaya (29 min), the Tobu Urban Park line to Nagareyama-otakanomori (21 min), then the Tsukuba Express to Kashiwanoha-campus (3 min). A Narita Airport Transport highway bus to Kashiwa station west exit is also available.

Kashiwanoha-campus station and the neighbouring Kashiwa station offer a number of hotels within easy reach of the venue. Staying in central Tokyo is also perfectly feasible, since the Tsukuba Express connects the campus area to Akihabara directly.
