Welcome to the registration page for JuliaCon Global 2026! This year's conference will take place in person at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany from Monday August 10th to Friday August 14th.
Monday & Tuesday, August 10-11, 2026: Workshops.
Wednesday-Friday, August 12-14, 2026: Talks.
Saturday, August 15, 2026: Hackathon (free to attend for 5-Day Pass and Talks Only ticket holders).
You may obtain 5-Day Pass, Talks Only, Workshops Only and 1-Day Pass tickets to attend JuliaCon Global 2026. Three ticket price tiers are available to accommodate different financial situations:
Standard Tickets for large businesses and organizations with more than 200 employees.
Individual Tickets for individuals paying with personal funds, public research grants, individual non-profit grants, or small businesses.
Student Tickets for registered students, PhD candidates, and non-faculty postdoctoral trainees.
A 19% value-added tax (VAT) will be added to all ticket prices as required by German law. If you have any questions about which ticket type to select, please see the FAQ section below or contact us at juliacon@julialang.org.

Please only select a student ticket if you are a registered student. We have a limited number of student tickets and want to make the conference accessible to those who need them. Note that PhD students and non-faculty postdoctoral trainees also qualify for the student ticket price. Please purchase an Individual or Standard ticket if you can afford to do so as these are offered below our operating costs.

Any unused tickets may be refunded up to 30 days before the start of the conference. After that date, no refunds will be issued. To request a refund, please email us at juliacon@julialang.org with your order details.
The Saturday hackathon requires either a 5-Day Pass or Talks Only ticket to attend.
We have a limited number of discounted and free tickets for those can volunteer throughout the conference. Please email us at juliacon@julialang.org if you are interested in volunteering.
No, there is no blanket discount available for speakers. If you are a speaker and need financial assistance to attend JuliaCon, please submit an application for speaker support. Since the decision on speaker support may occur after the early-bird deadline, submitting an application will guarantee you the 20% early-bird discount rate even if your application was not successful.
There is not a discount for non-profits in general.
If you are being paid out of an individual grant or a grant for a academic group of less than 200 people, you may select a ticket from the Individual Ticket price tier.
If you are an academic trainee, you may choose the Student ticket rate.
There is not a discount for government employees.
If you are unemployed, you may select the Student ticket rate. Also, see the next question.
Please submit an application for support. We would like everyone who wants to attend JuliaCon to attend while also having enough funds to cover the cost of the conference. If you are able, please considering volunteering at the conference. Funding priorities will be speakers and participants underrepresented in the Julia community.
